Juicing For Health | Juicing To Lose Weight | Juice Lady Cherie

Do you have a toxic liver?

The liver holds a key to efficient metabolism, weight control, bowel health, and detoxification. The liver is the major fat-burning organ in the body. Cleansing your liver can greatly improve weight loss and energy. When you regularly consume sweets and other processed carbohydrates, junk food, and other unhealthy foods and beverages, your liver converts these calories mostly to fat and stores it. Though not common, fat can build up in the liver, which can lead “fatty liver”.  When this happens, something has gone wrong in the process of metabolism. It is known that fat accumulates in the liver with a number of conditions, the most common being obesity. Fatty liver is also associated with diabetes mellitus, high triglycerides, and heavy use of alcohol.

The liver stores toxins in fat cells. The more toxins it stores, the more the liver functions are compromised. The liver can become congested just like the colon. When the liver is congested, excretion of bile is slowed down, and a person can be more prone to constipation. As toxins linger in the gut too long, some will be absorbed back into the bloodstream. Toxins circulating in the system can cause water retention in certain areas of the body, especially the thighs, hips, and arms because the body holds onto the extra water to dilute toxins. We notice these unsightly collections as cellulite. A cleansed, well-functioning liver can greatly facilitate the loss of cellulite and water weight.

You may have a number of signs of liver congestion, even though all your liver-function blood tests appear normal. The tests used to determine liver function are not designed to show mild dysfunction, but rather liver damage. Because the liver is involved in so many critical functions, it can affect nearly every system in our body, including the nervous system, the immune system, the endocrine system, the digestive system, and the circulatory system.

    Dear Cherie

First of all sorry about my grammar mistakes, I am learning English. I have constant nausea more than three years. It is started half year after I moved to the US from Hungary. At the first time, the doctor told me, it is normal, my body has to get use to my new life in a new continent. But after one year I became nervous. I went doctors, but everybody just tried to explain me it is normal. Since last year my nausea is strong every day. I could easily vomit. I have almost all the time a pressure feeling and sometimes pain around my liver area. Of course I went doctor, the ultrasound showed that I have fatty liver. I do not eat gluten more than one year, i almost never ate lactose. I did a one month only veggie juice diet. I bought your book and I started detoxing my body. I drink veggie juice every day almost half year. I do not drink coffee, I do not smoke, I am not overweight, I do exercises, I drink alcohol 1-2 times a month, I do not take any medicine almost two years and I never in my life took medicine regularly. so I cannot understand how could I have fatty liver. But it is. so now I would like to solve this problem and cure myself. Now I am almost the end of your liver detoxing program. After my long story (sorry about it) I would like to ask, in this condition (fatty liver) can I do the liver- gallbladder flush or should I skip that?
If you have any other advice what should I do to cure my disease I would really appreciate that.
I love your book! It had changed many lives!Maybe you could help me too.
    Thank you!!

    • You should be able to do a liver flush. Omit all sweets and don’t drink fruit juices. Flavor your juices with lemon or lime. Don’t eat any refined carbs.
